Meet Brooke Hinson, MSW

"I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued."

– Brené Brown

Brooke first found her passion for working with neurodivergent adults when she stumbled upon nonPareil Institute in Plano and began working there after graduating college in 2015. Not long after starting at the front desk, she was hired to kickstart their social programming as the Social Engagement Coordinator. She spent three years planning social events, helping students start social clubs, and coordinating volunteers and community partners, ultimately fostering a long-standing culture of connection, inclusion, and fun.

In 2019, Brooke began a new learning journey as a live-in caregiver for three young men – two on the autism spectrum and one with Down syndrome – and got a front seat view to the daily support needs of these individuals. With her visionary wheels always turning, she decided to return to school and earned a Master’s in Social Work from UTA in 2023, specializing in Community and Administrative Practice. During this time, she returned to nonPareil Institute for her first year internship and CHAI (Community Homes for Adults Inc) for her advanced year internship.

Brooke launched All My Friends in 2024 with the vision that all neurodivergent adults are plugged into community and connected to appropriate support, with a focus on highly-capable individuals who are often overlooked or forgotten. All My Friends currently offers individualized life coaching, community events, a Discord channel for member-to-member communication, and online Power Hour groups (launching soon!). The future vision includes supported living and a community gathering space for members.

In addition to developing All My Friends’ services and vision, Brooke is currently working as a caregiver to one young man, preparing to take the LMSW licensing exam, and serving on CHAI's Board of Directors. She has joined the Autism Professional Coaching Association (APCA) to stay plugged in to best practices and will complete their Intensive Autism Coaching Training (iACT) program in 2025.

If any of this vision resonates with you, she’d love to chat!
